So great news, I can now easily transfer pictures from my phone to the blog so it will be a ton easier to actually update... I am going to try and be better about it. So here's January and, if we all are lucky maybe I'll start adding stuff from last year!

This is Times Square at noon on New Years Eve... already a mad house. We didn't stay because Chad didn't feel well, but it was surreal to see so many people

We saw the Lion King with Chad's Great Aunt Joy and some of her family... it was fantastic!

We actually ventured into Brooklyn (I know, right?) and explored Prospect Park. It's almost as big as Central Park and most movies actually film here instead of Central Park.

This is the pretty famous Prospect Park Boathouse at night... it's pretty cool to turn the corner in the park and see this just appear from the trees

Chad wasn't very excited about his gelato, it was in a flower shape!

I made fun of Chad for putting on his dark grey shirt and MY light grey yoga pants to go walk Batman so he decided to put on all the different shades of grey he owned. He walked Batman by himself, so I think the only person he was punishing was himself.

All I wanted for dinner one night was Pizza... Chad made me go to the gym first.. I was quite grumpy about this.

Just another reason why New York makes me a little sad, they even jack up the price on $5 pizza :(

Chad is making a cake!!! I thought it was a good idea to document this... he did not.

Here is the finished product. We heard it was quite delicious but since it was for a co-worker of mine while I was sick, we did not get to try it. I think he should make another cake so we can find out for ourselves. (P.S. "sick" was an understatement. I spent a week in bed with a nasty case of Bronchitis and then the stomach flu- ugh my lungs still aren't functioning at 100%)

Batman achieved a life goal in January. He actually frightened an adult human. There was a girl in the elevator who actually hid behind her male companion to evade Batman's fierce gaze. Below is almost exactly how he looked when he entered the elevator.

I saw this place in Harlem like 3 days ago... Still very much Christmas in this place I guess...

As many of you know I absolutely hate my job... I saw this tweet and thought it was the best thing ever. So funny- and feels quite true... today is Saturday and I'm here at work so as you can imagine I'm the opposite of this glow right now. I'm sure you're thinking "but Michelle if you hate your job why don't you try to find a new one?" The answer is it is complicated. Chad graduates in May (yay!) so we kinda wanna see where that takes us. It seems silly to find a new job and then leave in a few months, but if it gets any worse I'll probably quit and just temp till May.

Also I have no idea what country Blogger thinks I am in, my guess is Switzerland because I'm at work... and it's a long dumb story, but it keeps telling me parts of words are spelled wrong. It is very confusing.
