So looks like we are really bad at updating this. I think we both think the other person should... Anyway here's some pictures and then a bit of an update..

This is the view from a member of the ward's apartment. I  went to a RS activity there... if you look close you can see the bridge on the other side of the island

This is the dog we walked for a bit... it makes me laugh because he has lazer eyes... also he destroyed his bed while we were there.

Chad's school had a welcome back mixer at the  Skyroom Times Square which  boasts that they are the highest lounge in the city... this is their view of the Empire State building

So those are a few of the pictures we have taken while exploring the city. So far we have gone on many adventures while we are here, including walking 30 blocks to try to find a Mister Softee truck, general exploration of wherever we happen to be and a very memorable trip to South Bronx and the Uhaul store. Eventually I'm going to get pictures up of our apartment, but we are not fully unpacked and decorated yet so I am holding off. I hope to get it done this weekend though!
